Hayward Restaurant Month offers deals, new menu items

Hayward Restaurant Month is Back, with Deals and New Menu Items Galore. For the third year running, restaurants in Hayward are offering food lovers a chance to save money while trying new places or revisiting old favorites.

The promotions will be available throughout January, providing a welcome boost for restaurateurs who often face slow sales after the busy holiday season. According to Paul Nguyen, chief economic development officer for the City of Hayward, these deals can make all the difference in keeping businesses afloat during this period.

Yelp has created a special webpage featuring participating restaurants and their offers. While many deals come with restrictions, such as not being combinable with other discounts, others are unveiling new menu items to tantalize customers. Here's a look at some of the opening deals:

Discounts will be available at Aama’s Kitchen, where diners can enjoy free papadum with every order; Acqua e Farina is offering 10% off any food item when mentioning Restaurant Month; and Edgewater Pizza will treat customers to 15% off all orders. El Pastorcito Taqueria has a deal of its own: buy two burritos or meals, get one free beverage.

Meanwhile, Ghazni Afghan Kabobs are offering 15% off their orders, Golden Safari Restaurant is providing 10% off main meals (excluding drinks and appetizers), and Gurkha Kitchen will let customers buy one menu item at full price and get a second one for half off. Other participating restaurants include Habibi’s Birria, Los Dos Hermanos, New York Pizza, Oh G Burger, Old City Roastery, Rayo's Pizza, Sourdough & Co., Storybook, Susie Q's Pizza, and Tin's Teapot Bistro.

Some popular spots are also introducing new menu items to draw customers in. These include Concha Dreams' s'mores concha with coffee or hot chocolate, Hinata Sushi Kitchen's new patio menu featuring sandos and bento boxes, Rockit Char Grill's Chicken Pesto Panini, Snappy's Cafe offering cardamom chai, Tang Jip serving soy-marinated crab, Galbi Tang, and The Neighborhood Grandma serving up breakfast sandwiches and coffee.

omg i need to try Aama’s Kitchen already they have free papadum with every order lol what a game changer? and 10% off at Acqua e Farina is a great deal too me & my squad r planning to hit up El Pastorcito Taqueria for that buy two get one free deal 🤩🍴

man i'm so down for hayward restaurant month 🤤 it's like the whole city is trying to convince me to try new food spots or revisit old faves and honestly who doesn't love a good deal? 😂 from free papadum at aama's kitchen to 15% off main meals at ghazni afghan kabobs, there are so many options to choose from. i'm kinda tempted to hit up el pastorcito taqueria for that buy two get one free vibe - sounds like the perfect excuse to try their burritos and drinks combo 🌯️ but what's really got me excited is all the new menu items popping up everywhere, like concha dreams' s'mores concha or hinata sushi kitchen's patio menu - can't wait to dig in and see what all the fuss is about 💦

🍴 I'm so hyped for Hayward Restaurant Month 🤩! It's always a win-win when you get to try new spots or revisit old faves with some amazing deals 😂. I mean, who doesn't love free papadum at Aama's Kitchen? 🍲 and 15% off at Ghazni Afghan Kabobs? 🤤 And let's not forget about the new menu items - s'mores concha from Concha Dreams sounds like a game-changer ☕️. It's always awesome to see local businesses come together to support each other during slow sales periods 💪. The webpage on Yelp is so helpful, btw - makes it easy to find deals and restaurants 📚. Can't wait to get out there and take advantage of all these amazing offers! 👍

I'm not sure why everyone's all hyped about this "Restaurant Month" thing 🤔. I mean, what's the real incentive here? You're just gonna go out of your way to save a few bucks on food that you could've easily gotten at their regular prices anyway? Not trying to be a buzzkill, but it feels like more marketing fluff than actual saving-the-day deal 💸.

And don't even get me started on the new menu items 🤢. Some places are just going to use these promotions as an excuse to serve up overpriced, gimmicky dishes that'll probably just end up in the trash 🚮. Meanwhile, the regulars who know what they're doing will be stuck with the same old menu at full price 👎.

I'd rather support my local restaurants during slow periods by showing up consistently, not just when there's a sale 🙃.

January is already here and I'm so down for some savings... Hayward Restaurant Month is back 🎉! I've been to Aama's Kitchen before and their papadum is the best, can't wait to get that for free with my order this month 😋. But what really gets me excited is trying out those new menu items - Concha Dreams' s'mores concha sounds insane, and Hinata Sushi Kitchen's patio menu has some amazing options too 🤤. I've also been meaning to try out Edgewater Pizza for a while now, 15% off all orders can't go wrong 😄. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good deal? It's the perfect way to kick off the new year and support our local businesses 💸.

🤔 so Hayward Restaurant Month is back? thats nice, im a big fan of trying new food spots... but 3 years in a row seems like a bit much, dont they wanna innovate more? 🤷‍♀️ anyway, i heard some cool deals, like free papadum at Aamas Kitchen and buy one get one free burritos at El Pastorcito Taqueria... thats pretty tempting! 🍴👀 but what about the restaurants that didnt make the list? are they just gonna be left behind? 🤔 also, whats with all the new menu items? is it just a marketing ploy or do people actually like these new foods? 😐

OMG 🤔 is Hayward Restaurant Month going to be a huge success this year? I mean, with all these new deals and menu items, it's gonna be super hard for me to choose where to eat 🍴👀 like what's the point of having free papadum if you can't even get a good table at Aama's Kitchen lol 😂

I wonder how many people are actually going to take advantage of these deals and not just stick with their usual spots 🤷‍♀️ like I'm gonna check out that s'mores concha from Concha Dreams, but only if they have seating outside, don't wanna be stuck inside on a cold day ❄️

And btw, why do the deals come with all these restrictions? Like 10% off this and not combinable with that 🤔 what's up with that? Can someone explain how it works to me? 🙋‍♀️

I'm not really sure why we need another "Restaurant Month" every year... I mean, it sounds like a bunch of restaurants are just trying to make some extra cash during a slow period after the holidays. But hey, who doesn't love free papadum or 15% off their favorite pizza? 🍕 It's actually pretty cool that Yelp is creating this special webpage to help people find deals and new places to try. And I have to admit, some of those new menu items sound pretty tasty... like that s'mores concha thing from Concha Dreams. But let's be real, it's just a marketing gimmick to get people in the door. Still, if it helps support local businesses during a tough time, I'm all for it 🤑

January is just around the corner! 🎉 I'm actually kinda stoked about this Hayward Restaurant Month thingy. I mean, who doesn't love a good deal? 💸 Aama's Kitchen's free papadum is a genius move, btw. And 15% off at Ghazni Afghan Kabobs is a nice touch too. 🤗 I've been thinking of trying out Edgewater Pizza and Los Dos Hermanos, so this is just the push I needed to give them a shot. Maybe it's time for me to explore some new spots in Hayward...

I'm thoroughly excited to hear that Hayward Restaurant Month is back for its third consecutive year 🤩! It's a brilliant initiative by the City of Hayward to support local restaurateurs during the slower sales period after the holiday season. I do hope these deals will help inject some much-needed vitality into the community, and I'm eager to try out those new menu items at Concha Dreams and Hinata Sushi Kitchen - their s'mores concha sounds like a game-changer! 🍞️ The fact that Yelp is hosting a dedicated webpage for participating restaurants is also a great idea, making it easy for foodies like myself to navigate the offerings. Overall, this promotion is a much-needed boost for local businesses and I'll definitely be taking advantage of it 😊.

so Hayward Restaurant Month is back 🤔 and I'm not sure how I feel about it. on one hand, it's great that restaurants are trying to keep their sales up during a slow period, but on the other hand, I wish they'd put more effort into creating meaningful promotions rather than just tacking on cheap discounts.

I mean, 10% off at Acqua e Farina? 🤑 that's not exactly going to break the bank for customers. and what about the ones who are trying to eat healthy or watch their calories? do they get any special deals then? 🤷‍♀️ I'd love to see some more creative offers, like "buy one entree, get a free side" or something.

and have you seen the list of participating restaurants? 👀 it's like a who's who of Hayward eateries. but hey, at least they're trying to attract new customers and keep the old ones coming back with new menu items 🍴

🤗 I'm so excited for Hayward Restaurant Month! 🍴 I've been to Aama's Kitchen like 5 times already and I can already tell they're gonna kill it with that free papadum deal 😂. But honestly, I have a personal connection to the city too - my grandma used to own a restaurant in Hayward before she passed away, so I'm really feeling the love for this event 💕. I've been meaning to try out more restaurants around here and now is the perfect opportunity! 🤗 Has anyone tried any of these new menu items yet? 🤔

January is almost here 🎉 and you know what that means... Restaurant Month is back! 💰 I'm so down for this, who doesn't love trying new places or revisiting old faves at a discounted price? 😍 My wallet is definitely doing the happy dance just thinking about it. And can we talk about how cool it is that Yelp is making all these deals easily accessible on their webpage? 🤓 It's like they're trying to help out our local restaurants who often struggle during this time of year. I'm excited to see what new menu items are popping up - s'mores concha with coffee? Yes, please! ☕

Omg yay!!! Restaurant Month in Hayward sounds like such a great deal! I love that they're bringing back the promotions for the third year running 🎉. It's so awesome to see local eateries offering discounts and new menu items to keep customers coming back. I'm totally down for trying out some of these deals and discovering new fave spots! Aama's Kitchen's free papadum with every order sounds amazing 😋, and Edgewater Pizza's 15% off all orders is a steal! Can't wait to check out the other participating restaurants and their offers 🤗. Bring on January and let's get this foodie party started 💃🌮

🤔 Hayward Restaurant Month is back? That reminds me of the old days when my family used to go to Chinatown for dinner on Sundays... it was always a treat! 🍜 Anyway, I think this deal is just what restaurants need to get customers coming in after that holiday rush. 10% off here, buy one free there... sounds like a good combo to me! 😊 Still, I do wish they had more deals that weren't combinable with other discounts... feels like we're being restricted from saving money. 🤑

January is just around the corner! 🎉 Can you believe it's already time for Hayward Restaurant Month again? I'm a huge foodie and I love trying out new places or revisiting old faves at a discounted price 😋. It's awesome that Yelp is featuring all these participating restaurants on their webpage, so we can easily find what's available.

I think this deal can really help our local restaurateurs who often face slow sales after the holiday rush 🤞. Some of the deals seem pretty sweet - like getting free papadum with every order at Aama's Kitchen 🍲 or 15% off all orders at Ghazni Afghan Kabobs 🍴. And I'm excited to try out some of these new menu items too, like Concha Dreams' s'mores concha or Tang Jip's soy-marinated crab 🤩.

It's great to see so many restaurants getting involved and supporting each other during this time 💕. Fingers crossed it'll be a huge success and we get to enjoy some amazing food at affordable prices! 👍

🤔 I'm so stoked that Hayward Restaurant Month is back! It's such a great time to try out new places or revisit old faves without breaking the bank 💸. I mean, who doesn't love free papadum 🌮 from Aama's Kitchen or 15% off at Edgewater Pizza? 😊 The deals are pretty sweet, but some of them do come with restrictions, so it's always good to check the fine print 👀.

I'm also loving all the new menu items popping up - Concha Dreams' s'mores concha sounds like a game-changer ☕️, and Hinata Sushi Kitchen's patio menu looks super appealing 🍜. It's clear that the restaurants are trying their best to keep things fresh and exciting during this slow sales period.

As for me, I think it's awesome that Yelp is creating a special webpage featuring all the participating restaurants and deals 📊. It makes it so easy for people like us to find out what's going on and plan our dining adventures 🗺️. Bring on January!

January is just around the corner... time to get excited about eating out at Hayward Restaurants Month 🤔! You know what they say, "You can't put a price on happiness"... or in this case, a good deal 😊. I think it's great that restaurants are offering discounts and new menu items to attract customers during slow sales periods.

I've been to some of the participating spots before, and let me tell you, there's always something delicious waiting for us foodies 🍴! From free papadum at Aama's Kitchen to Edgewater Pizza's 15% off all orders... it's a great time to try out new places or revisit old favorites. I'm actually thinking of trying Ghazni Afghan Kabobs' 15% off offer, their dishes always hit the spot 🤤.

I do wish some of these deals weren't so restrictive, but hey, you can't get everything for free, right? 😉
