omg this match was crazy ! i dont think ref john beaton made a bad call tho . cant see how denying goalscoring opportunity would be enough for red card imo οΈ. trusty is a decent player but you gotta respect the game and not take risks like that .
celtic's performance after auston was sent off was pretty cringeworthy . i mean, they still managed to hold on for a draw which is more than some teams could say about themselves . martyn o'Neill just needs to get his team back in shape ASAP
hearts played well tho ! their attitude and character in that match were top notch οΈ. we should be giving them props for not giving up when they had chances to win it
omg u guys Celtic & Hearts had such an intense match ! i'm still on the edge of my seat thinking about Auston Trusty getting sent off lol, like what was he even thinkin'?! mart o'Neill's explanation might've sounded legit at first but let's be real, 10 men is a big disadvantage
anywayz, i love how Hearts coach Derek McInnes is all about his team's character and attitude that's what makes sports so amazing! it's not just about winning or losing, it's about the journey and the passion
and can we talk about VAR for a sec? i'm still tryin' to figure out their logic on this one... was Auston's red card really justified? guess we'll have to wait and see how the rest of the season unfolds
I'm so bummed about that Celtic vs Hearts match . I know Celtic has been having a rough time lately, but still... a red card for Auston Trusty? It's always tough when you're down to 10 men and can't quite get the win. But you gotta give those Hearts players credit - they showed some serious grit and determination out there . And I love how Martin O'Neill is sticking up for his player, even if it doesn't change the fact that Celtic got burned . Derek McInnes is just the real MVP of coaches right now . Can't wait to see what the rest of the season has in store for these teams! οΈ
I'm gonna say this... Celtic gets a break because of some dodgy ref work . Auston Trusty's sending off was a harsh one, imo. I mean, the ball wasn't even heading straight for goal and they had someone covering it up? Come on! It's always the same with VAR though - it's all about controversy. The fact that Celtic managed to keep up with Hearts despite being down to 10 men is just a sign of how good their squad is, not some miracle result because the ref got it wrong . And let's be real, Hearts could've won it easily if they had taken those chances... but nope, they squandered them like always
idk why ref john beaton thinks he can just give out red cards willy nilly trusty did push that heart player hard enough to deny a clear goalscoring chance! it's not rocket science, ref needs to stay calm & use common sense. and another thing, what's with the VAR in this league? sometimes i think they're just trying 2 make ref life easier by intervening every now & then
I don't get why they're makin' such a big deal about that sendin' off . I mean, it's not like Auston Trusty tried to hurt anyone! A 10-man team is gonna have a tougher time against Hearts than with a full squad, ya know? And yeah, the ball was goin' away from goal and all that... it just looked like VAR and Beaton were tryin' to protect Hearts from takin' advantage of a decent foul . Still, gotta give credit to Celtic for keepin' it 1-1, even with one less man on the pitch .
