Tucker Carlson's career is like a big puzzle, and I think he's finally found the missing piece - how to make people believe whatever he wants them to. He's really good at making his audience feel like they're right and everyone else is wrong. It's like he's created this whole alternate reality where liberals are the bad guys, and it's just so convincing that a lot of people buy into it.
I'm not saying I agree with everything Carlson says (he doesn't), but what really gets me is how he uses language to manipulate his audience. He talks about "they" like they're some kind of shadowy force trying to control us, and suddenly, his viewers feel justified in spreading hate speech or misinformation. It's like he's got a magic wand that makes them think the world revolves around him.
I'm not saying he's beyond redemption (although I do think it's unlikely), but we need to be careful about how we consume information and who we trust. We can't just sit back and let people like Carlson spread their toxic ideology without pushing back.
omg i'm just saying tucker carlson is like super good at making people believe whatever he wants them to think he's like a master manipulator and it's wild how much influence he has on the right-wing audience
i mean who needs facts when you've got a charismatic host telling you that liberals are out to get you it's like he's created this whole alternate reality where everything is about him being the hero and everyone else is just a bunch of evil people trying to control us
and don't even get me started on how he uses words like "conspiracy" to make his audience feel all special and inside-the-loop it's like he's giving them this big ol' permission slip to ignore all the real issues and just live in their own little fantasy world
anyway i think it's crazy that he's gotten away with peddling all these lies for so long
