Hudson Hot Air Affair Returns with Festive Events, Balloon Launches Next Weekend

Residents of Hudson, Wisconsin, can look forward to a weekend of fun and excitement as the annual Hudson Hot Air Affair festival returns from February 6-8. The event promises an array of winter activities, hot air balloon launches, and live events that are sure to entertain all ages.

The festivities kick off on Friday evening with a Torchlight Parade at 7 p.m., followed by a spectacular fireworks display. On Saturday, the day begins at 7 a.m. with a Masons Pancake Breakfast, while attendees can also explore the Octagon House Museum and participate in a pet adoption event.

Meanwhile, outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Moon Glow/Field of Fire event from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., as well as balloon launches scheduled at E.P. Rock Elementary School. The weekend's events continue on Sunday with a free kids ice fishing competition at Perch Lake and a breakfast held at Big Guys BBQ Roadhouse.

Foodies can indulge in special deals at Hudson-area businesses as part of the Eat-Shop-Play promotion, while participants can also take part in a scavenger hunt with prizes. The Battle of the Beverages & Bites competition will see attendees vote for their favorite food and drink specials, with the winner receiving a $50 gift certificate.

Other activities include a bean bag tournament, a prize drop fundraiser for the St. Croix Valley Food Bank, and booster club bingo. With something to suit every interest, the Hudson Hot Air Affair promises an unforgettable weekend of fun in Hudson, Wisconsin.
