'I was bullied in school for being different. At 16, I hit a crashing point': the awkward kid who became the world's strongest man

I'm so inspired by Tom Stoltman's story 🤩! Growing up as an "outcast" because of his appearance, he could've easily given up on himself, but instead chose to find strength in being different 💪. His autism actually ended up being a blessing in disguise, helping him focus and block out distractions while working out 🙌. And let's be real, who wouldn't want to eat 8 boiled eggs with cheese and mayonnaise for breakfast? 😂 But seriously, Tom's transformation is a huge reminder that we should all celebrate our uniqueness and not try to conform to societal norms 👫. His mental toughness and self-acceptance are truly what make him strong – both physically and mentally 💥.

I'm not convinced by Tom Stoltman's origin story... 🤔 I mean, it sounds too good to be true? A bullied kid becomes the world's strongest man just because his brother introduces him to weightlifting? It's a classic 'rags-to-riches' tale, but what about all the other strongmen who've been training for years without the same 'cheat code'? 🏋️‍♂️ Is it really that simple? And what about the fact that Tom's autism is presented as some kind of superpower? 🤷‍♂️ I need to see more context and evidence before I buy into this story. Can someone provide me with sources on how common autism is in strongman athletes? 💡
