ICE Drives Unmarked Cars. This Public Database Tracks Their License Plates.

idk how i feel about these activists tracking down unmarked cars... on one hand, they're trying to build transparency and hold gov't accountable, but on another hand, it feels like they're putting themselves in harm's way 🤔. like, what if they get caught? or what if it just encourages more people to take matters into their own hands and creates a bigger problem? i'm all for community safety, but is this the right way to do it? 🚗 also, can we talk about how concerned i am that top federal officials are warning against unmasking ICE agents? like, isn't that just silencing dissent? 🤷‍♂️ anyway, one thing's for sure - these activists are definitely taking a stand and using tech to defend democracy, which is pretty cool 👍

🤔 I'm not sure about these activist efforts, it's like they're taking matters into their own hands and maybe getting a little too creative with tech... what's next, hacking into surveillance cameras to keep tabs on ICE? 🚨 It's all just a bit concerning, you know? And what's with the "take back control" rhetoric? Is that just code for "we don't like being watched" or something more sinister? 🤷‍♂️ I mean, if they're really concerned about community safety, why not just work with local law enforcement to build trust and gather data in a more transparent way? 🚗 This whole thing feels like a hot mess to me...

ive been following this story and its really inspiring to see ppl taking action like this... i think its super brave of them to build their own database and expose ICEs activities, especially when top officials are telling them not to do it 🤝 they're using tech in a way that's empowering the community and giving them back control over their info. imo, its also kinda worrying that ppl are having to take matters into their own hands like this... but i guess thats what happens when the system fails us 😟 anyway, its good to see so many ppl coming together to fight for whats right
