I mean, I know there's been some crazy stuff going on for ages, but 18 people? Including a kid?! That's just not right. And all those rockets and airstrikes? It's like they're trying to make a big mess. 
I'm no expert or anything, but it seems like both sides are being super aggressive. Can't they find a way to resolve this without killing each other? 
The international community is getting involved now, which is good, because clearly the US and EU aren't doing enough already... They need to put some real pressure on Israel to stop all this violence ASAP.
