im so hyped about this 🤩 the fact that they're finally giving recognition to these unsung heroes who make movies happen behind the scenes is amazing! i think its crazy how much power a casting director has behind the scenes... like they get to decide who plays who and can literally change the trajectory of a movie or show 🤯. but at the same time, i also feel like we dont really know what goes on in that process until after it's all said and done. its like we're just along for the ride and only get to see the finished product.

and nina golds story is so inspiring - from starting out as a music video scout to becoming one of the most respected casting directors in the industry... its a reminder that sometimes our paths arent always straightforward but can still lead us exactly where we need to be 🌟.

They're not even directly involved in the film industry anymore. It's all about image management at this point. But what about the other casting directors out there who aren't as "connected" or have "the right connections"? Is that not fair? 🤔
