I don't get why there's so much drama over this Randa Abdel-Fattah girl . I mean, I know she said some stuff that might be considered insensitive or hurtful to some people, but isn't that kinda the point of having open discussions and debates? It seems like the whole festival thing is just getting out of hand and becoming a big PR mess . Can't they just have a calm conversation about what's going on instead of boycotting the whole event? And what's with all these high-profile people quitting? Is it really that hard to just not go to one writers' festival if you disagree with someone? It's just so much fuss over something that might seem like a small thing to some people...
