this whole thing just feels like we're being fed lies . i mean, how can you trust what the authorities are saying when everyone else is saying something different? it's like, what really happened in that ICU? was pretti really a threat to those border patrol agents or was he just trying to get some help for his patients? and another thing, who gets shot while handcuffed? seems fishy to me. we need more transparency here, not less .
.. can you imagine being handcuffed & shot by someone who's supposed to be there to help you? it just goes to show that even in situations where we think things are straightforward, they can quickly turn into a whole mess.
I've been thinking about this a lot & it got me wondering... what does it say about us as a society when we have multiple versions of the same story & nobody's willing to own up to the truth? It's like we're trying to convince ourselves that everything is fine, even if it's not.
And then there's this idea of accountability... I mean, if they were really under duress, why wouldn't they speak out against it? Why do they have to wait for someone else to say something so it becomes public? It feels like we're just patching up the wounds instead of really addressing the root cause.
