Lego's latest educational kit seeks to teach AI as part of computer science, not to build a chatbot

Wow! 🤔 Lego is literally making learning fun again with their new computer science and AI kit. It's so cool that they're focusing on the fundamentals without venturing into generative AI chatbots. I love that the lessons are designed for different age groups and can be adapted to suit various school settings. This initiative is a breath of fresh air in education 🌞💻. The fact that it prioritizes local inference and secure learning environments is also a huge plus! 👍

I'm so stoked to see Lego stepping up their game with this new computer science and AI learning solution 🤩! I mean, let's be real, building chatbots can be super cool, but it's not exactly the most practical or accessible way for kids to learn about AI and computer science. By focusing on traditional fundamentals like probability and data quality, Lego is giving kids a solid foundation to build upon.

And I love that they're making these lessons available for teachers too 📚! It's so important to have resources that are both fun and effective, especially when it comes to getting kids excited about learning. The fact that they're prioritizing local inference and security is also super smart - we all know how important that is in today's digital world 🔒.

I'm definitely pre-ordering the K-2 set for my little one (or maybe I'll get two, haha!) 🤗 Can't wait to see what this initiative brings to the table!

I mean, I'm not exactly tech-savvy, but I think its kinda cool that Lego's getting into teaching computer science and AI 🤖. I've seen those Lego movies with my nephews and they always seem so much fun. Can you imagine building robots or something using Legos? That sounds like a blast! 😊 What do you guys think about this new initiative? Is it gonna make learning cool again for kids?
