'Mad fishing': the super-size fleet of squid catchers plundering the high seas

omg what's going on with these huge industrial-fishing fleets 🤯 they're basically plundering the high seas off mile 201 and no one's doing anything about it... it's like a free for all out there with squid being caught to extinction 🐙 meanwhile, whales, dolphins, seals, penguins and other marine life are getting hurt too 🌊 plus, people working on these ships are being treated super badly - physical violence, wage deductions, debt bondage... it's just not right 😞 the eajf is calling for a ban on imports linked to illegal fishing practices and a global transparency regime but i don't think anyone's listening 💔
 
🚨 I'm totally freaking out about this industrial-fishing thingy! Like, what's up with all these giant ships just dumping their squid guts everywhere? It's like a total ecosystem disaster waiting to happen 🌪️. And don't even get me started on the cruelty towards marine wildlife – seal-killing and penguin-trapping? 😱 No thanks.

I mean, come on people! Can we please establish some basic catch limits and regulations for these distant-water fleets? It's not like they're just gonna magically start respecting the environment 🙄. And what about all the suffering of the workers on these ships? Long hours, no rest, debt bondage... it's like a nightmare scenario 😓.

We need to take action! A ban on imports linked to abusive fishing practices and a global transparency regime would be a great start 💡. Let's get Beijing to step up their game and make some changes 🚀. We can't just sit around and let this squid-fishing catastrophe unfold 🌊.
 
I don’t usually comment but I feel really bad for those poor seals & penguins 🐧😱 They’re just trying to survive & find food on the ocean, not hurting anyone. It’s like we should be helping them instead of catching them in hooks or trapping them on ships 🤯. The fact that some people are hitting or strangulating workers too is just terrible 😨. We need more transparency & regulation so these things can stop happening. It's crazy that some countries don't have catch limits, it's like a free for all out there 🌊. We gotta take care of our oceans & the creatures living in them 💚.

OMG 🤯, this squid fisheries thingy is like, super scary!!! 😱 I mean, can you even imagine a whole ecosystem just collapse because of overfishing? 🌪️ Like, the ocean is already dying from pollution and climate change, do we really need to make it worse by killing all these sea creatures? 🐠😔

And it's not just about the squid, it's like, thousands of other animals that depend on them for food are gonna be affected too. 🌊🐳 I mean, whales, dolphins, seals, penguins... they're all connected in this ocean ecosystem thingy, so if we mess with one part, it's gonna affect the whole thing.

And on top of that, there's human rights issues and animal cruelty involved? 😷 Like, workers are being hit, strangled, and forced to work excessive hours with little rest. That's just not cool 🙅‍♂️. We need to do something about this ASAP! 🚨
 
🚨 Can you even imagine having no rules at all? Like on a giant playground with no teacher or boundaries 🤯! That's what's happening out there in the high seas where these huge industrial-fishing ships just go wild, taking as much squid as they want without any one caring or stopping them 😴. I mean, think about it, for every squid that gets caught, whales, dolphins, seals and birds are all connected to those little creatures 🌈... so if we mess with the squid population, everything else can get messed up too! It's like when you're trying to clean your room and you knock over a box of stuff, it's gonna make a big mess everywhere 😩. And worst part is that some of these ships are literally treated animals inhumanely 🐳😷... workers are being paid peanuts and having their rights trampled all over the place! This is like something out of a horror movie! We need to take action and demand more transparency, better regulation, and an end to this abuse ASAP 💪
