Mamdani reverses City Hall’s opposition to Bronx supportive housing project

omg is this gonna work tho? i mean supportive housing is def needed but Jacobi Medical Center is like right in the middle of bronx lol what's the plan for parking and stuff? 🤔🚗 also dont get me wrong eric adams seemed cool but i'm glad mamdani changed his mind cuz just home sounds super nice 🏠💕

🤔 I'm kinda surprised by Mamdani's change of heart on this one... thought he was all about keeping the status quo. Guess you never really know what's cooking behind closed doors 🍴. Still, I think it's a step in the right direction - we need more affordable housing options for people who need them most 💕. What do you guys think? Should we be welcoming this project or holding out on approval? 🤷‍♂️

🤔 finally someone's doin somethin about affordable housing around here! I'm all for it, the city needs more places like this where people can get a real home not just some sketchy Airbnb. Mamdani's decision is a major departure from Adams' lackadaisical attitude towards housing, and I'm glad he's holdin on to his campaign promises. Decarceration and tenant protection are two things that need to be prioritized in this city, and I hope more people step up and demand change. Can't wait to see how this project unfolds and if it brings about some real positive change for the community 🏢💪

I'm kinda surprised by Mayor Mamdani's sudden change of heart on the supportive housing project 🤔. I mean, Eric Adams was all for it last year, but now Mamdani is saying he wants to build more 🏗️. It shows that he's really committed to his campaign promises and making a difference in the city.

I think it's cool that Fortune Society is on board with this project - they've been doing amazing work supporting people in need 💕. And Shirley Aldebol was instrumental in getting this project approved, so let's give her some props 👏! It'll be interesting to see how this project plays out and if it can make a real impact on affordable housing 🤞.
