Man accused of rape denies anger over call from Barron Trump, court hears

A UK court has heard that a 22-year-old Russian man accused of rape denied being angry when the daughter of US President Donald Trump made contact with his alleged victim via video call. Matvei Rumiantsev, who is accused of multiple counts of assault and rape, claims he was not jealous when Barron Trump's FaceTime call interrupted his interaction with the woman.

According to the prosecution, the incident occurred in January last year when Rumiantsev allegedly assaulted the woman and then went on to rape her after spotting several missed calls from Barron Trump. However, during his cross-examination, Rumiantsev said he was not angry about the incoming call but rather "quite used to her receiving calls." He claimed that the victim's hysterical state at being contacted by Trump made him more anxious.

Rumiantsev maintained that he wanted to make the woman understand what she was doing was wrong and admitted to feeling jealous when he saw Trump on FaceTime. However, he argued that this jealousy did not translate to a loss of temper or aggression towards the victim.

The case centers around whether Rumiantsev's actions were driven by anger or another motivation. As the trial continues, the prosecution must prove that Rumiantsev's behavior was premeditated and not simply a result of his feelings at the time.

Ugh, can't even think about this guy without getting all riled up ๐Ÿ˜ก! I mean, come on, spotting Barron Trump's FaceTime call and using it as an excuse to go full-on psycho? That's like something out of a bad thriller movie! And the fact that Rumiantsev claims he was just "quite used to her receiving calls" ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ gives me major red flags. Like, no way, dude! You're not using his daughter as some kind of twisted excuse for your bad behavior!

And what's even more disturbing is that this guy is trying to downplay the whole thing by saying he wasn't angry but just jealous? ๐Ÿ™„ That's like saying "oh, I was only angry because I saw a pretty girl walk into the room"... please! We all know that's not how it works.

I'm so frustrated for the victim in this case. She must have been traumatized enough without having to deal with some psycho's half-baked excuses. ๐Ÿค• And the fact that Rumiantsev thinks he can just waltz into court and spin this whole thing as some kind of "he was feeling jealous, it didn't matter" narrative? No thank you!

omg just read about this russian guy who raped some american girl and now he's trying to play dumb ๐Ÿค” like he's all "oh no barron trump interrupted my convo with her and i got anxious" ๐Ÿ˜‚ but honestly it sounds to me like a total ploy to get sympathy ๐Ÿ˜ meanwhile the prosecution is trying to figure out if his actions were actually premeditated or just some impulsive rage ๐Ÿšจ gotta keep an eye on this one... ๐Ÿ‘€ [https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-60431395]

I mean, I just think its wild how this case is playing out ๐Ÿคฏ... like, what's with Barron Trump getting involved in it? Can't imagine being on the receiving end of that FaceTime call ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ˜ณ... anyway, back to Rumiantsev, if he was really "quite used to her receiving calls" then why did his anger levels supposedly drop when she answered? It just feels like he's trying to spin this whole thing and I'm not buying it ๐Ÿ˜’... or maybe the prosecution is just gonna be all up in arms about him being premeditated ๐Ÿš”๐Ÿ’ฅ? Either way, I'm sure its gonna be a wild ride watching this trial unfold ๐ŸŽข

omg this is crazy like what kinda dude gets jealous over face time calls from some random kid lol but for real though its wild that barron trump's presence was enough to freak out the victim and make matvei rumiantsev feel more anxious tbh im curious to see how this trial goes down will they prove he premeditated his actions or was it just a crazy night?? ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿš”

๐Ÿ˜’ this guy is getting away with some serious BS... like who spots Barron Trump's FaceTime call and loses it? ๐Ÿคฏ i dont buy the whole "she was the one being hysterical" thing, sounds like he was using her reaction as an excuse to keep calm. the prosecution gotta prove that this wasn't just a random encounter gone wrong... [link to BBC news](https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-europe-62751177/russia-man-says-he-was-not-jealous-over-trump-call)

so nice to see Barron Trump's FaceTime skills are being used for "evidence" in a rape trial ๐Ÿ™„... like, what's next? Using Ivanka's social media posts as proof of guilt? ๐Ÿ˜’ I guess it's flattering that Rumiantsev thought the kid was so interesting he'd interrupt his alleged assault to watch him ๐Ÿคฃ. Anyway, on a more serious note, it's concerning how easily Rumiantsev's alibi just falls apart when faced with his own "logic"... maybe he should've stuck to saying he was angry and left it at that? ๐Ÿ˜

I cant believe this guy is even denying his emotions on live camera ๐Ÿคฏ like, what more proof does he need? The fact that Barron Trumps FaceTime call just so happened to interrupt Rumiantsev's interaction with the victim raises too many red flags for me... and honestly, it sounds pretty suspicious. And yeah, I get that people can be jealous without losing their temper, but come on, this is a serious accusation of rape we're talking about here ๐Ÿšซ๐Ÿ’”

this is wild ๐Ÿคฏ imagine having to deal with someone trying to make you feel better after they've just assaulted u & then raping u... meanwhile Barron Trump comes along & u're like "hey, this girl's all shook up" ๐Ÿ˜‚ and now Matvei's being all calm & collected in court, claiming he was just trying to have a convo ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ the fact that he spotted the missed calls from Barron & it made him more anxious is just creepy ๐Ÿ”ฎ but at the same time, can we really blame someone for feeling jealous when they see the face of the POTUS on their screen ๐Ÿ˜ณ?

๐Ÿ˜Š This whole thing is just crazy, you know? Like, who gets angry over some random FaceTime call from Barron Trump lol?! ๐Ÿคฃ But seriously, I'm so glad the court is looking into this and trying to figure out what really went down. It's a super sensitive topic and everyone deserves justice, regardless of their relationship with the President's son. ๐Ÿ˜Š Matvei Rumiantsev seems like he's playing both sides here and it's hard to know what to believe. Fingers crossed that the prosecution can prove his intentions were premeditated and not just some jealousy-fueled freakout ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ

๐Ÿคฏ I'm more concerned about this guy's life choices than his motivations ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ, but seriously, who makes a FaceTime call to an alleged victim in the middle of a traumatic situation? ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ˜ณ Barron Trump should be getting some serious tech support for this one! ๐Ÿ˜… As for Rumiantsev, I don't buy his "not angry" act ๐Ÿ™„. If he's claiming to be jealous just because of Trump, that means something was already going on in his head ๐Ÿค”. It's like saying you're not hungover just because someone brings out the hangover cure ๐Ÿน. The prosecution has got a tough job ahead, but I'm rooting for them ๐Ÿ’ช to figure out what really went down in that trial ๐Ÿš”

๐Ÿค” The whole thing just feels so messed up you know? Like this guy is accusing someone else of being emotional about their daughter making contact with the alleged victim, but what about all the other factors that could've played into Rumiantsev's actions? It's like the prosecution is trying to pin everything on Barron Trump, but what about Rumiantsev's own feelings and motivations? Did he just happen to spot those missed calls by coincidence or was it a deliberate attempt to get a rise out of his alleged victim?

And can we talk about how weird it is that this guy thinks he's not angry when he sees Barron on FaceTime, but then gets jealous and loses his temper with the victim? It's like his emotions are all over the place. The whole situation just feels like a bunch of twisted variables and I'm not sure what to make of it ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

this whole thing is kinda weird... like, Barron Trump being involved in this case? it's just too much to take seriously lol ๐Ÿคฃ. seriously though, I think Matvei Rumiantsev's defense strategy is quite clever. trying to shift blame from his own emotions to the victim's reaction to Trump's call... it's a bit of a stretch, but hey, it's all about how the prosecution plays it down. and what if Rumiantsev really was "quite used to her receiving calls"? maybe he just didn't think twice about it? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ still got a lot on my mind about this case...

๐Ÿค” Omg this is so wild... I mean I know Russia has its issues but this guy's alibi about Barron Trump making him anxious takes the cake ๐Ÿฐ. If he was really just "used to her receiving calls" then why did he get all jealous when it happened? And what's up with him saying his feelings towards the victim were different from how he felt when he saw Trump on FaceTime? It sounds like he was trying to spin this whole thing, you know? Anyway, I hope they catch him and make sure he pays for what he did... ๐Ÿ˜ก

OMG THIS CASE IS SO CRAZY!!! ๐Ÿคฏ I FEEL LIKE RUMIANTSEV'S STORY IS ALL OVER THE PLACE RIGHT NOW! HE'S TRYING TO SAY ONE THING BUT IT SEEMS LIKE HIS MIND IS MADE UP OF DIFFERENT STORIES AND IT'S GETTING REALLY HARD TO KEEP TRACK ๐Ÿ™ƒ. IF HE WAS REALLY NOT JEALOUS ABOUT BARRON TRUMP CALLING HIS VICTIM, THEN WHY WOULD HE EVEN BE ANGRY WHEN HE SAW HIM ON FACETIME?! ๐Ÿ˜’ IT JUST SEEMS LIKE RUMIANTSEV IS TRYING TO PLAY BOTH SIDES AND IT'S GETTING REALLY HARD TO BELIEVE WHAT HE'S SAYING. THE PROSECUTION HAS TO DO SOME SERIOUS WORK IF THEY WANT TO PROVE THAT HIS ACTIONS WERE PREMEDITATED ๐Ÿšจ.
