I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing

. I mean, can you believe someone would try to assault a congressman at a party? It's just wild. And the fact that it was all about racist comments and deportation threats is just... ugh

.
But what really gets me is how this whole thing highlights the weird contradictions of modern America. We're always talking about being welcoming and inclusive, but when someone does something racist or hateful, we pretend like it's not a big deal

. I mean, come on, dude! You can't just get all upset and try to deport someone because they might be from somewhere else. That's just not how it works

.
And what's even crazier is that this guy, Christian Joel Young, was trying to use a fake festival pass to get into the party? Like, what were you thinking, dude?

You're going to try to assault someone and then pretend like you didn't do it because of some silly ID issue? Give me a break

.
Anyway, I'm just hoping that this guy gets charged with something serious and that the festival can actually follow through on its promises to be welcoming and inclusive. We need more people like Representative Frost who aren't afraid to stand up for what's right

.
