Just heard about this , totally unacceptable what happened at that party. Can't believe someone would resort to physical violence like that over politics... or whatever it was about . Glad the rep is okay, but also gotta say, how's our society when ppl can just walk around making threats and racist comments? Venue security should've kicked him out long before things escalated...

Anyway, I'm just hoping that this guy gets charged with something serious and that the festival can actually follow through on its promises to be welcoming and inclusive. We need more people like Representative Frost who aren't afraid to stand up for what's right .

Assaulting a politician is never okay, but adding racist remarks and deportation threats takes it to a whole new level . It's heartbreaking that someone has to go through that kind of trauma, especially in public like that . As for the 28-year-old fella, I hope he gets some serious help and learns his lesson . The Sundance Film Festival did the right thing by condemning the hate speech, but it's not enough - we need to hold people accountable for their actions . And those Dem lawmakers who spoke out in support of Rep Frost? they're doing our country proud, showing us what it means to stand up against hate and intolerance .
