ugh i'm so worried about this poor teenager she's gotta deal with all that trauma and stuff... it's just not right that some grown man would do such a thing to someone so young and innocent . i mean, what's going on in our society that we can't even take care of each other's kids? at least the NYPD was able to catch this guy, but it's still so sad that it took someone getting hurt like this to get him off the streets . we need to keep talking about this stuff and find ways to make sure it doesn't happen again .

OMG u guys I'm so shocked to hear about this news it's just heartbreaking thinking about that poor 14-year-old girl Germaine Parham's arrest is a huge relief but it's also super frustrating that he was out there committing such heinous crimes for who knows how long

I mean, I know crime doesn't happen in isolated neighborhoods like Manhattan, but still... the 13th Precinct having more reported rapes this year than last is pretty scary Can we talk about how hard it is to report crimes if u feel uncomfortable or unsafe? It's not just about having a reporting hotline, it's also about trust in our authorities and feeling safe on the streets
