MLB rumors: Should Phillies add any of top remaining starting pitchers?

🤔 I think the Phillies are being smart by looking at those guys like Griffin Canning & Zack Littell - they might not be stars but they've got decent stuff & won't break the bank 💸. Also, signing someone with a qualifying offer attached (like Valdez) could give them some draft pick protection in case things don't work out... just gotta weigh pros & cons carefully 📊

I think the Phillies are being pretty smart by targeting those middle-tier guys 🤔. I mean, yeah Framber Valdez is a great pitcher but that draft pick loss would be huge 💸. And Zack Gallen's age is definitely something to consider... 30 is not old for a starter at all, but it's still old 😅. Griffin Canning seems like a solid choice, his ERA was pretty decent last season and he's got a good price point too 💸. I think the Phillies should also keep an eye on those guys like Littell and Quintana... they might not be stars but they can definitely bring some stability to the rotation 🌟.
