Most U.S. families don't earn nearly enough to afford child care, study finds

I'm calling BS on this one... 🤑 I mean, $403,000 is basically a mansion payment, and they're saying that's the bare minimum to afford full-time childcare for two kids? What about single parents or those who can't work due to health issues? This number seems way too high. And what about families with multiple kids? Do they just get a discount on the cost?

And 7% of income is already pretty steep, especially when you consider that's only for one child... 🤯 I've heard of families being forced to choose between paying rent or putting food on the table, and now we're supposed to believe that parents are just gonna shell out thousands a month for childcare? Give me some real numbers and sources here, LendingTree. This sounds like a PR stunt to me 😒

🤯 I cant believe what's happening to american fams rn! $403k is like, way outta reach 4 most ppl... like, what r they s'posed 2 do? its all so crazy... 🤷‍♀️ we need more help w/ childcare costs. maybe if gov can hook us up w/ some decent affordable options, fams won't be stuck in this financial limbo 🤔
