My 20 minute interview with Josh D’Amaro shows why he has the character Disney needs

I'm so down with Bob Chapek's reign being over, lol 😂 he was literally ruining the Disney vibe. D'Amaro seems like the perfect fix, but let's be real, it's all about the Benjamins 💸 and we all know how corporate leadership works: charisma wins, but who gets to keep the castle? 🏰

I'm so excited about Josh D'Amaro taking over as Disney's new CEO 😊! He seems like a breath of fresh air after Bob Chapek's, umm, let's just say " rocky" stint 🤯. What really impressed me was how down-to-earth and genuinely interested he was during our convo last summer 🤗. I mean, who expects a CEO to ask about the stories behind Disneyland's magic? It's all about building those relationships, you know? 💕

I'm loving the way D'Amaro brings that Disney charm to the table 🎉. And let's be real, Chapek just didn't have it 😅. I mean, who wants a CEO who can't even convincingly be a "showman" like Iger? 🤷‍♀️

But seriously, D'Amaro's got this amazing balance of business smarts and people skills that'll surely make him a great leader 👏. Now, we just gotta see how he navigates the office politics with folks like Dana Walden 🤔. Fingers crossed it all works out smoothly! 🌟

🎉 I'm loving this new vibe at Disney! It's about time they got someone who actually knows how to connect with people, you know? I mean, Bob Chapek was all over the place and just couldn't seem to get it right. And now Josh D'Amaro is in the hot seat - let's see if he can bring that Iger magic back to the company.

I think what really stood out about him during our convo was how down-to-earth he seemed. Like, the guy remembered my name from months ago and could tell a great story about Disneyland. That's leadership, right there! And let's be real, it's not just about being charming (although that doesn't hurt either 😊). It's about building trust with your team and making everyone feel valued.

I'm curious to see how he'll handle the politics of the company now that he's in charge. Dana Walden is watching his every move - will he be able to navigate all those egos and keep everyone on board? Either way, I'm rooting for him! 💫

man i'm so down for josh d'amaro taking over as disney ceo 🎉 his people skills and media training are gonna be a game changer in building those relationships with shareholders, talent, and execs alike 👍 i remember when chapek struggled to connect with the crowd it was like he was trying to fit into a pair of shoes that were two sizes too small 🚫 d'amaro's got that magic formula down pat - business savvy + charisma = pure disney gold 💃

Ugh I'm just so over CEOs who can't even give a decent interview 🙄. Like seriously, D'Amaro was asking me questions about my Disneyland experiences? That's not leadership, that's just being interested in what others have to say. And let's be real, Bob Chapek's stage presence was cringeworthy 😳. I mean, who tries to hide behind a lectern during earnings calls? 🤦‍♂️ It's all about creating that Disney magic, right? Can D'Amaro do the same without being a total awkward corporate robot? We'll see about that 🤔
