I THINK THIS IS AMAZING NEWS!!! THE FACT THAT NASA IS WORKING ON BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY TO SAFEGUARD AIR TRAVEL DATA IS GONNA CHANGE THE GAME FOR AVIATION SECURITY!!! I MEAN, WITH ALL THE CYBER THREATS OUT THERE, WE NEED BETTER PROTECTION FOR OUR FLIGHT DATA. I think this blockchain tech sounds like a total game-changer... But at the same time, I'm not so sure it's necessary . I mean, what if all these airlines just start relying on some private company to store their flight data? That could be a major security risk... On the other hand, having a decentralized system with multiple parties in control sounds like a good idea... but then again, that could lead to info overload and make it harder for authorities to keep track of everything And what about the environmental impact of all these new drone ops? I'm not sure this tech is going to make air travel any more sustainable...
