I feel so bad for all the people affected by Storm Chandra
. It's been a week since the storm hit and it seems like it's not letting up anytime soon
. I know some areas are still really flooded and it's scary to think about the roads being impassable
. As someone who has experienced flooding before, I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to have your home affected
.
I'm just glad that emergency services like the Environment Agency and RNLI are on top of things and doing their best to keep everyone safe
. And to all the people who have had to evacuate their homes, I hope you're getting the support you need from local response partners
.
Let's all just take a deep breath and try to stay positive for each other during this tough time
. We'll get through this together, England!

147 properties in somerset and dorset are affected, that's crazy! 
can't we just have one calm day without a stormy weather forecast?
