NHS expands access to prostate cancer drug in England to save thousands of lives

I'm intrigued about this new development! I mean, it's awesome that the NHS is expanding access to a life-saving drug 🤔. But, can we get some more info on how they're going to monitor its effectiveness? Like, what kind of trials are they running and what's the long-term impact on patients? And, have we seen any data on side effects? 💊 I'm also curious about the cost - is this expansion funded by the NHS or is it being covered by insurance? 🤑

just heard about this new NHS rule 🤔 and i'm really hyped for guys who got prostate cancer! it's so unfair when people say they only care 'bout people who are already sick... like, what about the ones who just need a little help staying healthy? 💪 anywayz, abiraterone is defo a game-changer 🚀 and i hope it makes a real diff in saving lives. 3000 more lives saved in england? that's crazy! 💥

OMG 😲, can't believe they're finally making abiraterone available to more people! I was reading about my uncle's cousin who had prostate cancer and it killed him 💔. He only found out he had it after the treatment window had passed 🕰️. It's like, what even is that? 🤯 So glad this is happening now, saving 3k+ lives in England alone 😭 will be so comforting to all those families who've lost loved ones due to prostate cancer 💔
