I'm not surprised they're investigating Nike
. Some people might say they're being "snowflakes" for calling out the company's diversity initiatives but honestly, it's about making sure everyone is held to the same standards
. I mean, if they're doing something that could be considered discriminatory, then why shouldn't they face scrutiny? It's not like Nike is trying to hide anything... or are they?
I think Andrea Lucas and the EEOC are just doing their job
. They want to make sure everyone has equal opportunities, regardless of race or ethnicity. I'm all for that!
The thing is, people always assume that companies like Nike have everything figured out, but really, they're human too... with biases and flaws
.
Nike's statement about cooperating fully with the investigation sounds fishy to me
. If they're not doing anything wrong, then why are they worried? Maybe they should focus on actually implementing their diversity initiatives instead of trying to silence critics
.
Anyway, it's all about transparency and accountability
. I hope Nike comes clean about their practices and makes some real changes
.
