One in six autistic pupils in UK have not attended school at all since September

OMG u guys this is like so frustrating 🤯! One in six autistic kids are just missing out on school because of inadequate support and it's literally heartbreaking. I mean, can you imagine having to deal with anxiety and sensory overload every day? 😩 It's not fair at all. The government needs to step up their game here and invest more in teacher training and mental health support teams. £200m just isn't going to cut it 🤑 and £3bn is a good start but what about the long-term plan? 🤔

And don't even get me started on the education health and care plans... that's like, the whole point of having extra support in place. 😡 If they're taking those away, it just means more kids will be suffering. I'm literally shaking with rage right now 💥. We need to make sure these reforms actually help autistic kids, not just give parents a false sense of security. Like, what's the point of investing if it's just going to be ignored? 🤷‍♀️
