man this is so messed up i mean we all know chinese apps are a bit sketchy but pinduoduo taking it to this level is just crazy their lack of oversight and regulatory compliance is just worrying for users like us who want our privacy respected i dont no how they got away with this for so long without getting caught anyway glad the exploit code was removed after an update but idk about the underlying code being reactivated

I'm so worried about this... Pinduoduo needs to get their app checked ASAP and make sure they're not letting any other malware sneak in!

So like, they were requesting some super sketchy permissions from users and it's just not cool. They need to figure out how this happened and make some changes. And honestly, who else is surprised that the Chinese government didn't catch on sooner?

omg u guys this is crazy!!! i mean pinduoduo had no idea their app was being used to steal users' info it's like they thought they were above the law or something china's not doing enough to regulate its tech industry and it's gonna cost ppl i'm all for holding companies accountable but pinduoduo needs to step up their game and btw why didnt the chinese gov do anything about this sooner? it's like they were sleepwalking on the job
