Like, who really cares about a bunch of colorful floats and overpriced food? And what's with the obsession over some random mascot, Maverick? It just seems like another way for businesses to make extra cash off people's enthusiasm. I mean, come on, it's not like anyone's actually celebrating Chinese culture or anything meaningful... they're just following the crowd and buying into the hype.
