Park lovers press Mayor Mamdani to commit money to improve green spaces

I'm so excited for Zohran Mamdani to finally unveil his budget, especially with all the hype around park upgrades 🌳💚. As someone who's always believed that spending time in nature is a total game-changer for our mental health and overall well-being, I think this is a huge opportunity for NYC to lead the way. I mean, can you imagine how refreshing it'll be to have more green spaces across the city? And let's be real, it's not just about looks - investing in parks can actually help combat climate change and reduce air pollution 🌞💨. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Mamdani's commitment of 1% of the budget will make a real difference 💪. I think its gotta be done, you know? We cant just ignore our parks any longer 🌳💚 NYC needs them for mental health and everything. Its crazy that were still fighting for 1% of the budget. Like, what happened to all that money we invested in stadiums and fancy new buildings? Our people are sayin they care about parks, so lets make it happen! What if they prioritize public safety instead of parks? That would make more sense... no, wait, maybe that's not true 😂. We need green spaces for our mental health and all that, so I think $1 billion is doable... unless they can find ways to cut costs elsewhere 💸.
