The appeal was launched on January 4th with an initial goal of $60,000, but it's now been revealed that the money raised more than exceeded expectations, eventually reaching over $100,000.
However, Rourke made it clear from the start that he had no involvement in the crowdfunder, stating "I wouldn't take a nickel of charity." he's all bent outta shape about people helping him out, meanwhile he was probably enjoying the extra cash. and now he's threatening revenge? seems like a pretty weak comeback to me 
it's just people being kind, what did they do to deserve that? btw 10% reimbursement is still way more than he gave back 
I gotta say, this whole thing with Mickey Rourke and that crowdfunder is just wild. Like, I get it, being scammed out of your own name can be pretty frustrating, but coming at those behind the scam like that? It's almost like they're trying to make a spectacle out of it. And let's be real, $100k is a lot of money - it's crazy that Rourke didn't even bother to look into what was going on before just taking off on social media about it.
That just seems like a big ol' public tantrum. Like, can't he just talk to his friends about it privately instead of airing all his dirty laundry online?

the worst part is that these people were trying to help him and he went and humiliated them on instagram
