ummm what do u think about trump talking at davos ? i mean he did say some pretty bold stuff but like was it really gonna change anything? and i saw france's president macron talking about bullying on the global stage too... does that even make sense? also canada's pm carney is all like the old order is not coming back... what does that even mean for us?
i feel like these world economic forums are super important but like they always seem to be about the same things - trade, climate change, stuff like that. can't we just talk about something new for once? and omg trump's speech was like a mix of both bombast and concision... i'm still trying to figure out what all that meant
I'm not buying the "shift in tone" narrative about Trump's speech . It sounds like just another attempt to spin a polarizing figure as a unifying force. Newsflash: it's still Trump, with all his bombast and divisive rhetoric . And let's be real, who are we kidding? The old guard is still firmly in control, and the only shift happening is from one iteration of neoliberalism to another . Meanwhile, Macron and Carney are just trying to maintain the illusion of progress while the system remains rigged against the little guy .
omg I just got a new phone and I'm trying to figure out how to use this new thing called "streaming" , like is it same as Netflix but on my phone? and what's with all these different apps for music and videos... can't we just have one app already? anyway, back to Davos... I don't really get why Trump was there, isn't he like, a politician or something?
