Premier League: Was Chelsea's penalty at Crystal Palace a VAR error?

I'm so done with VAR 😩. I mean, what's up with that rule about not making your body "unnaturally bigger"? 🤔 Like, how are you supposed to avoid having an arm out if you're already falling? It just doesn't make sense. And the fact that Maguire wasn't even in a position to intentionally block the shot makes it pretty clear that VAR got it wrong this time. Not for the first time either - remember Tomas Soucek and Martin Odegaard's close calls too? 🤦‍♂️ The Premier League needs to get its act together and come up with some clearer guidelines for VAR. Until then, I'm going to keep calling BS 💯
 
i mean come on... this var thing is just a joke 🤣 they can't even get it right half the time. maguire didn't intentionally knock the ball with his arm, so why should he get sent off? it's all so biased towards chelsea and manchester united at this point. we'll never know for sure what happened, but i'm guessing it was a mistake 🤷‍♂️ and now palace is getting robbed of a possible win... typical premier league justice 😒
 
😒 Oh boy, the VAR drama is at it again! I mean, come on, Maguire's arm was literally outstretched like a bird in flight mode before that shot landed on him. How hard is it to spot that? 🤦‍♂️ It's clear as day he didn't intentionally put his hand up there to block the ball, so why award a penalty?

And let's be real, these VAR decisions are all over the place! I've seen it happen twice now - Soucek and Odegaard both made a deliberate move to stop the ball, but somehow Maguire gets off scot-free. It's like they're playing some sort of invisible game of football roulette.

I'm not asking for much, just some consistency and accuracy would be nice. Is that too much to ask? 😂 Can't we just have one solid VAR decision without all the drama and controversy?
 
I'm still confused about this handball rule 🤔. I mean, Maguire was already falling with his arm out, so it didn't seem like he was trying to stop the ball from going in 🤷‍♂️. And then you got these examples of players making a deliberate movement to stop the ball and not getting called for handball... what's the difference? 😕
 
I'm so done with the inconsistency of VAR 🙄. It's like they're just throwing darts at a board and hoping for the best! 🎯 The rules are clear, but somehow it keeps getting applied in different ways. I mean, what happened to Maguire? Did he really deliberately put his arm out to stop the ball, or was it just bad luck? 😂 It's like they're trying to confuse us on purpose.

And don't even get me started on the two other instances where players got away with deliberate movement 🤦‍♂️. It's not fair to the teams that are actually affected by these decisions. We need clearer guidelines and more consistency, or else we'll just keep questioning the VAR system's reliability 🤔.
 
I mean, come on! 🙄 The VAR system is a joke, right? I'm watching this game from my old man's TV and I just don't get why Maguire gets off scot-free after making that awkward movement. What if he had deliberately tried to block the shot or somethin'? 🤔 I'm no expert, but even to me it looks like he didn't mean to knock the ball with his arm...

And those other two players who got away with it? Come on! You can't just be sloppy and avoid a penalty like that! 😂 It's all about consistency now. The Prem should sort this mess out for good... 1,000 words of VAR explanations wouldn't hurt 📝
