Protests sweep Iran as authorities intensify crackdown on demonstrators

man this is soooo scary what's goin on in iran rn it feels like we're watchin a rehash of those arab spring protests back in 2011 where ppl were fightin for the same stuff...freedom and equality but it looks like they're gettin worse instead of better these protests havent even ended after two weeks already and now theres people dyin and gettin hurt its crazy how much the government is tryin to suppress the voice of the ppl...like, can't they see we need change too?

this is getting so bad in Iran... two weeks of protests and still they're not listening. I mean, what's going on over there? The global community is like "hey, you guys need to calm down" but Iran's all like "nope, we're good". And the government's just using force to silence people? That's so wrong.

I'm worried about those protesters who are getting hurt or worse. Thousands of them taking to the streets, and what do they get in return? Arrests and beatings. It's like, can't they see that this is not going to solve anything?

And the international community should be doing more, imo. Like, yeah, we're condemning it all over social media, but are we actually doing anything about it? Holding back diplomatic engagements? That's just not enough, if you ask me...
