Reform-led Worcestershire set to issue England's largest council tax rise

🤔 The thing is, they're trying to balance a £1.3bn gap with a 9% hike... it just feels like it's gonna backfire. I mean, who does Reform UK think they're fooling? 🙄 They're already having internal squabbles over this, and the Send overspend thing is just gonna add fuel to the fire. The local council leaders are basically saying "you can't have it both ways" with low council tax rates and making ends meet. It's like trying to fill a bucket with holes - you need to fix the hole or stop pouring water in! 🤦‍♂️ And honestly, I'm not sure if Reform UK has any real plan for fixing their finances...

omg is reform uk even gonna recover from this?? they keep talking about cutting taxes but it seems like their own party members can't even agree on council tax rates 🤯 and now the government is making them pay for send services? that's just crazy! how are they gonna balance those massive debts without bankrupting themselves? i feel bad for the councillor who quit the party, at least they're speaking truth to power 💪

idk why reform uk is stressing about this, they're the ones who said councils could set their own tax rates 🤑💸 and now they're scrambling to cover some debts... it's not like its a big deal, everyone knows councils have money troubles anyway 💪♀️. but seriously tho, 9% tax hike? that's steep even for me 💸🤯. hope reform uk's members can sort out their differences 'fore apr '25 or it might be a real headache 🤯

Ugh, can you believe this? Council taxes are already too high in my opinion 🤦‍♂️. I mean, who needs more debt on top of what they're already paying? Reform UK thinks low council tax rates are a good idea but honestly it's just not working out for them right now. Their party leader should really think twice about trying to balance the books with such big hikes 🤑. And what's up with these Send overspends, it sounds like a mess 🤯. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on this situation and see how it plays out 📊
