Ugh, I'm literally dying over here

! Can you believe that Regal Cinemas just shuts down their beloved South Jersey theater without even warning the community? It's like they're just flicking a switch and saying goodbye to 30 years of memories

. I mean, who needs a fancy new cinema when we've got a piece of history being torn away from us?
I'm so frustrated that Cineworld couldn't find a way to keep it open. It's not like they're just going to leave a blank space in the community and say "oh well". What about all the fans who have grown up with this theater? Don't they deserve some closure or better yet, a revival?
And to think that it's all because of the pandemic and changing consumer habits. Like, I get it. But can't we just find a way to adapt and make cinemas work again?

It's not like streaming is going anywhere anytime soon. Let's hope that one day Regal Cross Keys Stadium 12 will rise from the ashes like a phoenix

.
Anyway, I'm going to go mourn my loss over some popcorn

at the nearby cinema. Anyone else want to grab a bucket and wallow in our collective movie-going grief?
