Ryan Coogler Has Always Been the Guy to Root For

the key to coogler's success isnt just about being a talented director, its about connecting with people on a human level 🤝. hes shows up real, shares his own experiences and emotions, and that creates a sense of community around his work. we need more of that in the entertainment industry, where people are more interested in who's "in" than what's actually being made. coogler's got the gift of empathy and vulnerability, which is why fans love him so much 📚.

I mean, Coogler's got skills no doubt 🤩, but is this just another example of Hollywood trying to create a "brand" instead of actually putting out good content? Like, his accent and conversational style are cool and all, but can't we get past the fact that he's making movies for the Oscars and not necessarily for us as consumers?

And what's with all these nominations? 16 is crazy! I mean, I'm happy for him and all, but can't the Academy just give out a few actual awards instead of creating an entire soap opera around it 🤯? It feels like they're more interested in playing politics than actually recognizing good filmmaking.

And don't even get me started on the whole "legacy films" thing. I mean, I love Coogler's work as much as the next person, but some people need to stop hating on him just because he's successful 🙄. It's like, you can be respected and admired without being a total iconoclast.

Still, I guess what sets Coogler apart is his dedication to telling stories that matter. He's not afraid to tackle tough subjects or take risks with his films, which is more than I can say for some of the other directors out there 💪. So yeah, I'll keep an eye on him and see how he does from here 🤔.
