Ugh, I'm so worried about these teachers going on strike 
! San Francisco has such a great reputation for its schools, and this is just not what we need right now. The budget deficit thing sounds legit, but come on, they can't keep saying that as an excuse when the union knows it's true 
. And honestly, I think the teachers are getting taken advantage of - all those years of talks with no deal... meanwhile, the students suffer 
. It's like, we get it, budget stuff is hard, but what about all the extra money they're putting into reserves? Can't they just use some of that to invest in classrooms instead? 
This strike feels so preventable if both sides could just talk things through and find a compromise
