Shin Bet chief's brother charged with 'assisting enemy' over cigarette smuggling in Gaza

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this whole thing... Bezalel Zini just gets charged with aiding the enemy and it feels like there are a lot of holes in that investigation. I mean, his defense lawyers saying he was just trying to make some cash by smuggling cigarettes? That's understandable but why didn't the Shin Bet chief brother step up and take responsibility for his own brother's actions? It's weird how this whole thing is being swept under the rug while other stuff like demolitions and profit from war is still going on. And what about Bezalel's involvement in this 'operation' that allegedly smuggled iPhones, batteries, car parts... seems kinda fishy to me 🤔

🤔 I'm so done with all this corruption in Israel. Bezalel Zini smuggling cigarettes into Gaza for 120k? That's not the only thing that's sketchy, though... his bro David is Shin Bet chief, and we're supposed to trust him? 🙄 Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers are involved in demolitions and profiting from the conflict by smuggling goods. It's like, who gets investigated for treason while the real players get a free pass? 💸🔴 It's all so unfair. The whole thing just reeks of a cover-up...
