so its kinda interesting to see the pendulum swing in the opposite direction, you know? all these colleges are now trying to make up for lost time by actively seeking out diverse students, but at what cost? I mean, we're talking about people who are only enrolling because they weren't good enough for their 'safety schools' before . its not like they're necessarily going to change the world or anything. and then theres the whole issue of student outcomes... if these students aren't properly prepared, they could be setting themselves up for a world of trouble . but on the other hand, maybe this is just the start of something good? we should keep an eye on it to see how things play out .
just saw those numbers and i'm shook temp university is like 180% more black students than before la salle university is on a similar trajectory but what about the long-term effects tho? if top colleges are now considering racial identity in admissions, that could lead to some wild stuff down the line we need more research on this
