Single-family house in Pleasanton sells for $1.8 million

Luxury Market in Pleasanton Sees $1.8 Million Sale of Spacious Single-Family Home

A stunning single-family residence located on Ridgewood Road in the upscale neighborhood of Pleasanton has been sold for a whopping $1.8 million, marking one of the most expensive transactions in recent times.

Built in 1970, this two-story home boasts an impressive living space with four spacious bedrooms and three modern bathrooms. The interior spans an impressive 2,146 square feet, making it a true showstopper. But what truly sets this property apart is its substantial lot size of 8,116 square feet, complete with a lavish pool perfect for outdoor entertainment.

The asking price translates to an eye-watering $839 per square foot, which is significantly higher than the comparable homes sold in recent months in Pleasanton. For instance, a similar two-story home on Harvest Road was sold just last March for $1.95 million, working out to a lower price per square foot of $934.

The sale of this property has sparked renewed interest in the local luxury market, where high-end homes are consistently selling at record-breaking prices. With its prime location and generous living space, it's no wonder this single-family home commanded such a premium price tag.

OMG, like I just don't get why people wanna pay $1.8 mil for some house 🀯🏠. I mean, I know Pleasanton is upscale and all, but does 2k sqft really justify that kinda cash πŸ’Έ? It's got a pool and a big yard, yeah, nice and all... but there are plenty of other houses in the area with similar features for "cheaper" πŸ˜’. And don't even get me started on the price per square foot – that's just crazy rich πŸ€‘. I guess some people just wanna splurge, though, and if they're into that sorta thing, more power to 'em πŸ’ͺ. But seriously, it's making me question the sanity of my fellow homebuyers out there... are we all just getting taken for a ride? πŸ˜‚

can you believe people actually buy houses for 1.8 million?! 🀯 like, what do they even do with the cash?! πŸ€‘ they just throw money around... and now there are more of these luxury homes selling for record prices... it's crazy! 😲 and to think this one was even cheaper than another similar house sold last march... the market is wild out here! πŸ’Έ

the price per square foot is crazy 🀯 I mean, $839 is like, way too much for most people. can't even afford to buy a decent computer let alone a house πŸ“Š and what's up with the pool? you'd think that's just a luxury item, not something you should be paying extra for just to live in a bigger backyard 🏠

I mean, can you even believe $1.8 million for a house?! I'm like, what's the point of having that kind of cash if you're just gonna live in some suburban neighborhood with a pool πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ? I guess it's all about status symbols and stuff now. Remember when people could buy a whole new car for under $10,000 back in 2015? Nowadays, cars are like, overpriced collectibles πŸš—πŸ’Έ. Anyway, Pleasanton is definitely the place to be if you want to show off your dough πŸ’°.

I mean, $1.8 million is crazy for a house! I get why people would want that pool and the huge backyard though... 🀯 It's like a mini-estate out there. But $839 per square foot? That's just nuts! You can't help but wonder if it was worth it, considering how much money could be made renting it out on Airbnb. Still, I guess if you're gonna splurge that much, might as well go big or go home, right? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ The fact that similar homes are selling for less just down the street is wild, though. Maybe it was all about the location and prestige? πŸ’Έ

omg i just heard about this super rich guy who lives like 10 min from me and his wife just moved into this insane house 🀯 on Ridgewood Rd in Pleasanton it has like 4 bedrooms and a pool that's literally the size of my whole backyard lol they must be some kinda influencers or somethin? πŸ€‘ i mean i've seen them driving around town in their Ferrari but i never thought they'd actually afford a house this huge πŸ˜‚ anyway gotta say tho $1.8 mil is like, whoa thats a lotta cash πŸ’Έ does anyone think it's worth it tho?

OMG u guys i just heard about dis crazy sale of a house 4 like $1.8 million!! i mean i've seen some expensive houses around here but dis one takes the cake i wish i had that kinda cash lol i'm actually thinking of buying a smaller house in a normal neighborhood rn and saving up for a vacation πŸ€©πŸ–οΈ anyway back to dis house it's like 2 stories high with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a pool 🌊 but what really caught my attention is the lot size its like 8k sq ft!!! i feel like i could throw a party out there and invite all my friends πŸ˜‚ anyway i guess u gotta have deep pockets to afford dis kinda house πŸ‘€

I'm thinking what's up with these crazy prices?! 🀯 $1.8 million for a house in Pleasanton? That's just insane! I mean, sure it's got some nice features like the pool and huge lot, but you can get similar stuff elsewhere for less. And don't even get me started on that price per square foot - it's like they're trying to rip people off! πŸ˜‚ I guess when you've got money, you'll pay top dollar for anything with a pretty fence, right? πŸšͺ

omg I'm dying over here! $1.8 million for that house is straight up insane πŸ€―πŸ πŸ’Έ the pool alone is worth like $500k easy 🌊 and the lot size is crazy huge 🌳 what's next, someone buying a private island? πŸ˜‚

omg 🀯 I mean, can you even imagine paying $839 per square foot for a house? that's like buying a private island in calabasas! πŸ˜‚ but seriously, who needs that kind of space and luxury when you could be living the high life in los angeles or new york city? idk, maybe it's just me, but i think it's crazy how expensive homes are getting these days. on the other hand, if u're someone with the means, go for it, get ur dream home! πŸ’Έ

just read about this crazy house for sale in Pleasanton and I'm low-key jealous 🀩 1.8 million for that pool and extra room is insane! did anyone else see that similar house on Harvest Road sold last march for almost the same price? that's like, a whole lot of cash πŸ’Έ

omg can u believe this place sold for 1.8 mil?! i mean, i get why people want spacious homes with huge yards but $839/sqft is just crazy lol the pool looks so nice tho 🀩 and im curious if it was renovated or is it still in its original condition πŸ€”

I'm loving the opulence of this Ridgewood Road pad! πŸ’ΈπŸ  8k sq ft is insane, I'd want to throw epic pool parties for sure πŸŽ‰πŸ’¦. But hey, gotta give it up to the sellers - who needs that kind of space in the Bay Area? πŸ˜‚ It's crazy how prices are skyrocketing out here, but I guess if you're willing to shell out 800 bucks a sq foot, you get what you pay for πŸ’―. Still, can't help feeling like we're losing some of that "California charm" with all these multi-million dollar mansions 🌴🏠.

omg u guys i just got back from cali for xmas and OMG the real estate is CRAZY!! i was walking around pleasanton with my fam and we saw this one house that was literally FOR SALE but the agent said it sold like 2 weeks later for $1.8 mil lol what a market right?! but seriously, who needs all that space? i feel like i need a bigger house but at the same time, idk if im ready to spend that kinda cash lol anyway, its def crazy to see how high end homes are selling in cali these days πŸ’ΈπŸ

🀯 1.8 million is crazy for a house, especially when you consider that in London, you can get a decent sized flat for that kinda cash πŸ’Έ. I mean, what's the point of having all that space? It's just gonna be empty rooms unless you're some kinda collector or investor 🏠. Don't get me wrong, it looks stunning and all, but for most people, that's like asking for a private island 🌴. What really gets me is how high-end homes are just inflating the market price... who's buying these things, anyway? πŸ€”

omg I'm dying over here! $1.8 million for that house is insane! 🀯 I mean, I know Pleasanton is an upscale neighborhood but still, that's a lot of cash πŸ’Έ. And can you even imagine how many avocado toast and wine nights that money could buy? πŸ˜‚ But seriously, the pool and the huge backyard are totally on point - who wouldn't want to host their own epic parties there? πŸŽ‰ The fact that it sold for almost $100k less per sq ft than a similar house last march is wild too... I guess the buyers just knew they were getting an amazing deal 😊.

I don’t usually comment but... I think $1.8 million is kinda steep for a house in Pleasanton 🀯. Don’t get me wrong, the lot size and pool are sick! 😎 But if you look at other homes in the area, like that one on Harvest Road, they're pretty similar (same number of bedrooms, bathrooms, etc.) and still selling for over $1.9 million πŸ’Έ. It’s just that this one is a bit more... basic compared to some of the other luxury properties around there πŸ€”. Plus, have you seen what's going on with the Bay Area housing market lately? It seems like prices are kinda skyrocketing everywhere πŸš€. Anyway, I guess if someone wants an epic backyard and pool that bad, $1.8 million is a fair price 😊.

omg i just had the craziest dream last nite lol πŸ˜‚ like i was walking thru that house on Ridgewood rd and i couldnt believe how spacious it was 🀯 my bf got us a tiny apartment in sf and sometimes we just wish we had something like this to show off our wealth πŸ’Έ but tbh its kinda hard when ur living in a shoebox 🏠 anyway back to the news, 1.8 million is WILD πŸ’Έ how many ppl r out there that rich? πŸ€‘
