Smart Plugs Don’t Always Make Sense. Here’s When You Should Actually Use Them

I just got this crazy idea that making our homes more "smart" is like... soooo overrated 🤯💻 I mean, who needs to control their lamps with voice commands or fancy apps? Can't we just stick to good old fashioned light switches? 😂 Plus, all these smart plugs are like $10+ and they're not even like, super reliable or anything. And have you seen the prices of those energy strips? Whoa 🤑💸

idk why ppl get so worked up about smart plugs lol they just make life easier & convenient. i got a c by ge smart plug in my living room & it's been game changer. i can turn on/off the lamp with just my voice thru alexa or google assistant 🤖. plus, the app is super simple to use. people complaining about the price? $15 for two-pack isn't bad at all. and have u seen the eve energy strip? that thing is a beast! 3 outlets & homekit compatible... not complaining lol 😎

🔌 I'm so done with cords everywhere in my living room 🤯. Smart plugs are literally a game changer! I mean, who needs all those extra cables and outlets? Not me, that's for sure 😂. But seriously, I've been looking into smart plugs for ages, and it's amazing how much of a difference they can make.

I've got to say, the C by GE Smart Plug is my fave so far 🤩. It's so easy to use and set up, and it works with both Alexa and Google Assistant - win-win! 💕 Plus, it's super affordable at $15 for two-pack. The TP-Link Kasa Mini Smart Plug EP10 is also a great option, but I wish it was cheaper 😒.

I've heard great things about the Eve Energy Strip, but $75 is a bit too steep for me 🤑. And the Hubspace Defiant Smart Indoor Plug is cool and all, but it's not as user-friendly as some of the other options.

One thing that really stood out to me in this article was the importance of compatibility with multiple voice assistants 📢. I mean, who knows which one you'll be using in a few months? 🤔. Anyway, I'm definitely going to start researching smart plugs more now 💡. Maybe it's time for me to join the smart home revolution 🔌!

I gotta say, these new smart plugs are kinda cool, but also a bit pricey lol 🤔. I mean, I'm all about saving energy and being more efficient with my home setup, but $15 for a plug is still a bit steep for me. That C by GE Smart Plug seems like a solid option though, works with both Alexa and Google Assistant, which is super convenient. The TP-Link Kasa Mini Smart Plug EP10 looks tiny and compact, love that design aspect! But, I'm not sure about the Eve Energy Strip at $75... that's just crazy expensive 😂. And what's up with all these plugs needing their own app to control them? Can't we just have one simple interface that works for everything?
