omg u guys!! so Sony is giving up control of their fancy Bravia TVs to TCL... it's like, crazy! i mean, Sony's been struggling with decreasing margins and competition from other Asian brands like Hisense and Samsung. they're trying to focus on making money from anime, movies, and gaming consoles now... lol, that's a different kind of high-end stuff 
but seriously, this partnership is a big deal for TCL! they get to use Sony's premium brand name and tech while keeping the production costs low
