Substack CEO informs users of a data breach

Ugh, just when you think online platforms have got their acts together 😕... Substack getting hacked is a major bummer. I remember when I first started using the platform to share my stories, I felt so safe and in control. Now, it seems like even the biggest names can get breached 🤯. I'm glad Christ Best is being transparent about what happened, but 697k records leaked online? That's just a recipe for trouble 🚨. Can't stress enough how important it is to keep your personal info on lock down 🔒. Anyone else got Substack or use other platforms that have been in the news lately?

OH MAN, I'M SO WORRIED ABOUT SUBSTACK'S SECURITY BREACH!!! 😱 IT'S LIKE, THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE THIS SUPER SECURE Platform FOR WRITERS AND JOURNALISTS, BUT INSTEAD PEOPLE'S PERSONAL INFO IS GETTING HACKED LEFT AND RIGHT.

I MEAN, I KNOW THEY'RE TAKING STEPS TO FIX THE PROBLEM AND ALL THAT, BUT IT'S JUST SO FRUSTRATING WHEN THIS KIND OF THING HAPPENS. 697,313 STOLEN RECORDS ON SOME Hacking FORUM? THAT'S JUST CRAZY!!!

I FEEL BAD FOR ALL THE USERS WHO WERE AFFECTED BY THIS BREACH. I HOPE THEY'RE TAKING CARE OF THEIR FINANCIAL INFORMATION AND STUFF 'CAUSE WE DON'T WANT ANYONE GETTING SCammed OR SOMETHING.

🤔 this is crazy man... substack's security breach sounds super legit, i mean who doesnt love a good game of hackers vs digital publishers 😂. seriously though, its kinda weird that they didn't mention if any actual sensitive info was compromised. like credit card numbers or anything 🤑 i get why they want to keep people calm but this is some worrying stuff for users.

anyway, its good to hear that substack's taking steps to improve their security measures and all that jazz 💻. 697k records leaked on breachforums tho... thats a lotta data 🤯. hope none of those accounts were used for bad stuff. i'm just gonna assume they're being super responsible here and keep my substack account info safe 🙏.

omg, this is soooo not good 🤯 substack is like our go-to platform for all things writing and publishing, and now we're worried about our data being compromised? i remember when tumblr used to be secure and stuff... or was it 2009? anyway, it feels like no matter what we do, our online info gets hacked and it's just so frustrating 🙄 i hope substack takes its security very seriously and does something about it. it's not just about the users' data being compromised, but also the trust that gets lost. i feel like christ best is doing his best to keep us in the loop, though 👍 fingers crossed that breach forums doesn't end up selling all those leaked records on the darknet 🚫
