Succession creator Jesse Armstrong says he struggles with impostor syndrome

I mean, can't say I'm surprised. We all feel like impostors at some point, right? Even with everything they've achieved, Armstrong's still got that tiny voice in his head telling him he's not good enough . But you know what? I think it's actually kinda admirable that he's willing to admit it and talk about it. It takes guts to say 'hey, I'm just as lost as the rest of us'. I love how he says that 10-20% confidence thing - like, if we can just find that spark, we can overcome anything . It's all about being honest with ourselves and not letting fear hold us back.

LOL at Jesse Armstrong thinking he's got impostor syndrome like the rest of us! 10-20% of confidence? That sounds like my morning coffee levels – I'm pretty sure I can make a decent cuppa without burning down the house 🤣 But for real, it's great to see someone from his position being honest about their struggles. I mean, who hasn't felt like they're just winging it and praying everyone else doesn't notice? It's like when you're trying to adult but your inner 10-year-old is still "I don't wanna do homework" 🤪 Anyway, glad he shared his secrets – now let's get writing (or at least pretending we're writing) without too much self-doubt 💡

omg u guys I'm totally feeling this - Jesse Armstrong is literally my spirit animal right now! I mean, who hasn't felt like they're faking it till they make it? even tho he's got all these awards and ppl are raving about his work I think its so brave that he's owning up to his doubts and insecurities 🤯. 10-20% of confidence is EVERYTHING right?! its like, we gotta trust ourselves and our abilities, even when things get tough 💪. and can i just say how inspiring it is for him to be so open about this? idk about the rest of us but I feel like he's giving me a major confidence boost 🌟
