Sugar Land PD said it changed protocols after teen suspects escaped its jail

I'm so glad they changed their protocols now 🙌... I mean, who wants to deal with a situation where some teens just walk out of jail because they're all connected and stuff? 🤯 It's scary thinking about what could've happened if the security wasn't right.

I think it's really cool that the police department is being more open about their policies now. Dr. Coons makes a good point that transparency is key to building trust between law enforcement and the public. It's like, if they're hiding something, we can't really know if they're doing things right or not.

I'm still wondering why they didn't share this info sooner though 🤔... I mean, was it an attempt to prevent people from knowing how jails work? Or were they just trying to cover their own behinds? Either way, I think it's good that they're stepping up and making some changes now.

🤔 So like I was thinking, police departments gotta be transparent with us citizens, right? It's hard to trust them if they're hiding something 🚫. The fact that they initially refused to disclose their protocols and now changed them after releasing a new crime dashboard is a good sign, but we still don't know the details about what went down initially 🤷‍♂️.

It's not just about building trust with us, it's also about preventing more incidents like this from happening. If they knew something was fishy and didn't tell us, that's just gonna lead to more problems 🔮. Maybe now we'll see some changes in the way they operate our local jails 🚔.

It's interesting that an expert said withholding info is like, against the law or something 😊. I guess it's one of those things where police departments gotta follow the rules, but also make sure we're safe and informed 👮‍♂️.

omg u guys cant even imagine how frustratin it is 2 b kept in the dark about whats goin on with our local police dept 🤯 they were all secretive & didnt disclose enuf info bout this escape incident, but now that dey released dat crime dashboard w/ more details, its like... finally we can get some answers 👀 and I totally agree w/ Dr. Coons on transparency bing key 2 buildin trust btwn law enforcement & the public 🤝
