idk about this one im not buying it just yet. i mean dont get me wrong, its awesome that a syrian refugee won the mayoral election and all but hasnt the whole thing been kinda scripted from the start? like, hasnt germany been trying to boost its rep as a refugee-friendly nation for ages? and what about the other candidates who ran? didnt they have a chance at winning too? also, im curious, how many people actually voted for alshebl compared to the rest of the candidates? i need more info before i start cheering like everyone else
can't believe the way this whole thing is playing out alshebl's journey from refugee to mayor in 8 years is like something out of a movie - he's proof that with hard work and determination, anything is possible i mean, 55% of the votes? that's insane! but what's even more inspiring is that despite all the hate speech during his campaign, he didn't give up and it looks like the community has come together to support him. this is exactly what we need more of - leaders who understand the importance of inclusivity and diversity
I'm lovin' this news! A Syrian refugee winnin' mayoral election in Germany is like, totally breakin' down barriers, you know? People were thinkin' he wouldn't make it 'cause of all the hate speech and stuff, but he just proved everyone wrong. His story's so inspiring - from leavin' Syria at 21 to crossin' the sea in a rubber dinghy... talk about determination! And now he's makin' a difference as mayor, bringin' up issues like digital access and climate protections. It's like, Germany's all about bein' open-minded and welcomin' people from everywhere. Can't wait to see what this young politician does next!
idk about this one... how did 29-yr old Syrian refugee win mayoral election in small German town? didnt he have to go thru some kinda background check or something? and what's with the 55.41% majority, is that even normal? also, isn't it weird that he won despite facing backlash & hate speech? how did he overcome that? shouldnt voters be shielded from harassment?
just thinking about this guy Ryyan Alshebl is giving me all the feels! Like what's more inspiring than a 29-yr-old refugee, who had to go through so much to get here, winning the mayoral election in Germany? It's not like he was born in Germany or anything . But for real tho, this shows us that even when we face obstacles and people don't understand us, we can still make a difference. I'm all about representation and diversity, it's time to shatter those stereotypes!
This is like, totally what we need more of in politics - people from different backgrounds coming together to make things happen! Ryyan Alshebl's win shows us that being a good leader isn't about where you're from, it's about the values you stand for. And let's be real, Germany needs to shake off this whole "integration" thing and just welcome people with open arms . I mean, who is we to decide who belongs in our communities? It's all about finding that common ground and working together towards a better future . And can we talk about how awesome it is that he didn't let the hate speech bring him down? That takes a lot of courage and heart . So yeah, this is definitely a win for democracy and inclusivity !
