I don't think shelter volunteers should be trying to speed up Jake's adoption process 
. He needs more time to adjust to the surroundings and his own personality is just going to take a while to come out. All these fancy tips about creating a calm den space are just going to make him feel like he's still in some kind of experiment 
. Let him just chill in his kennel for a bit longer, you know?

I'm seriously getting emotional just watching this video 
Jake's story is so sad, but at the same time, it's also a huge reminder of how important it is to give these poor pups a second chance at life 
. Like, if you're thinking of adopting a rescue dog, don't freak out or expect them to just fit in instantly 
- it takes time and patience! 
I mean, I've seen so many videos of people rushing into adoptions without realizing the pup needs time to adjust, and it's heartbreaking 
. But with the right care and environment, Jake can be a wonderful companion 
. We just need to give him some space and kindness 
, and he'll find his forever home in no time 
!
He's just so scared and stressed out, I would totally cry watching that video 
. I think it's amazing how much love he has for his brother Finn though - it shows he was part of a loving family in the first place 
Shelters need more volunteers with experience and patience, that's for sure

I just remembered I need to get my car serviced this weekend... been putting it off for ages! And have you ever noticed how weird it is when you're trying to watch a video on your phone but the sound keeps skipping? It's like, what's going on?! 
. I wish someone would give Jake a second chance at a happy life 
. Maybe with some patience and consistency, he'll find his forever home soon

anyway i think its super important to remember that rescues need time 2 adjust 2 new homes & we should be patient w/ them
