I'm not sure about all these new restaurants opening up in the Big Apple
. I mean, don't get me wrong, trying out new foods is always exciting, but do we really need that many options? It feels like every other week, there's a new trend or cuisine popping up somewhere in NYC. Can't we just stick to our old favorites for once?
And another thing, have you seen the prices at some of these places? I mean, I know people will pay top dollar for food that's "artisanal" or "small-batch," but come on! A decent slice of pizza or a plate of pasta can be had for half that price at a real Italian restaurant.
I'm all for trying new things and supporting local businesses, but sometimes I think we get caught up in the hype and forget about what's truly important: good food that doesn't break the bank
