, but you can't just rely on two players to carry the team through a series. australia's still got some firepower of their own and england's gonna need more than just good form from their top order 
. plus, they're up against it in these conditions – bad light, rain, all that jazz

what's up guys? So I'm thinking, even though the weather totally bugged out today and England got washed out, they still managed to put on a sick show! Like, 211-3 is nothing to sneeze at, you feel me? 
And those two, Joe Root and Harry Brook, they're on fire 
. So even though it didn't go exactly as planned, England can hold their heads high and be like "we're in this" 
. And let's be real, the Ashes series is so intense right now - whoever wins this next one is gonna take it all the way

now lets just hope the aussies dont come out on top tomorrow and england can finally get their revenge 
! i know it's a bummer for england but i'm kinda happy australia's got this chance to turn things around

It's not ideal that they're forced to deal with rain on multiple occasions already... but I guess it just adds to the excitement of the Ashes series!
