I'm still reeling from Megadeth's latest album, you guys! Alexis Petridis' review had me thinking about how Dave Mustaine's got this knack for being brutally honest with himself. Like, the dude's been in this game for decades and he's not afraid to reflect on what's worked and what hasn't. But, I have to disagree with the "career-summarising redux" bit - I think that final album's a great example of how they've still got it, even if it ain't perfect. Meanwhile, Ari Lennox is slaying her new album Vacancy , I mean, Shaad D'Souza's right, it's the most fun she's had in ages! And Tessa Rose Jackson's The Lighthouse is giving me all the feels - I love how she's moved away from dream pop and into this more introspective acoustic space. Bach's Sonatas & Partitas are still giving me life too , those performances of his solo works are just so elegant...

idk about this release schedule, one out now and all 4 albums are already trending . I'm happy for Ari Lennox, Vacancy does sound like a lot of fun! but Megadeth's album is kinda long, 90 mins is a bit too much for me . Bach's sonatas & partitas are gorgeous as always, but sometimes I wish they'd put out some newer stuff . Tessa Rose Jackson's new album The Lighthouse sounds like a nice change of pace from her dream pop days, can't wait to give it a listen
