The best coffee machines for every home and budget, tested by our expert

I'm thinkin'... people's attachment to their coffee machines is pretty interesting. We become so reliant on these things that we almost forget they're just machines, you know? And when they break, it can be really frustrating. But, like, what does that say about our relationship with technology in general? I mean, we're willing to spend a decent amount of cash on something just to get a caffeine fix... and then we freak out when it breaks.

And have you ever thought about the environmental impact of all these discarded machines? Like, what happens to them at the end of their life cycle? We need to start thinkin' more critically about our consumption habits and how they affect the planet. Recycling and refurbishing are great steps in the right direction, but let's not forget that we're still makin' a lot of waste...

ugh, i mean... so yeah, coffee machines, who knew they were such a pain in the neck? 🤣 like, £40 an hour for labor costs? that's crazy! and don't even get me started on repairing them, it's like trying to fix a toy with no instruction manual. i swear, some of these machines are just designed to collect dust in a corner of your kitchen. at least recycling is somewhat decent, but what if you can't find a recycling center near you? or the machine isn't even accepted by their program... and what about those 'refurbished' machines? who's to say they're really refurbished, just slapping some new parts on an old one?
