coach Tocchet needs to stop making excuses for Michkov! I get that he's still learning, but slashing his ice time is just gonna make fans like me even more frustrated 
. I mean, the kid was a first-round pick and all, we expect more from him. And what's with this "he's playing himself in shape" comment?

he's gotta be stressed out with all these comments from coach tocchet coming out and fans being super harsh... 4 years ago he was a top prospect now hes struggling to even get ice time its a lot of pressure on him & the team rebuild... i get that tocchet is trying to make the best decisions but its gotta be tough for michkov & his family too 
coach tocchet should've been more careful with his words tho, now fans are super skeptical about him
fans r gettin restless cuz we invested in this kid and expected so much more

i also think dan brière should just come out and say somethin different, like "matvei needs to step up his game or he's gonna be a bench warmer" instead of just placatin' him with vague promises of growth. coaches gotta make tough decisions and it seems like tocchet is gettin a free pass

... 3 goals, 4 assists in 18 games 
️ - a paltry 8.3% 
... only 12:23 minutes per game in the last 5 games 
. Something's gotta change in Philly if they wanna see a turnaround from this season

. The thing is, Michkov does have immense potential, we've seen glimpses of it, so let's give him a chance to develop some consistency and see where it takes us
